SAMPLE 3-DAY– 2-NIGHT ITINERARY

  • Departing Paris in the early morning, you’ll take a comfortable 1st Class TGV train to Aix-en-Provence, about 4 ½ hours.
  • In Aix, you will be met by your expert local guide and transfer to a luxury hotel via chauffeur-driven sedan.
  • Receive early check-in at the 5-star luxury property in Aix. After a siesta, enjoy a light lunch or outdoor picnic with matching wines at the hotel or dine at a top local restaurant.
  • Dinner at a nearby Michelin-starred restaurant, with a tasting menu, including top Provence and château-bottled wines per your wishes.

  • Breakfast at Hotel, check out.
  • If desired, embark on a short 60-90-minute guided walking tour of Aix, stopping at the local flower and food markets, open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Visit antique shops, or tour impressionist artist Paul Cézanne’s studio, and definitely taste the city’s famous fruit-and-almond-paste candies called calisson
  • After, take a short trip via chauffeur-driven sedan to a private tour, tasting and lunch with Michel d’Espagnet at Château de Pourcieux—an award-winning rosé—about 1 1/12 h drive. Michel is an eighth-generation winemaker and his delicious wines are exported globally. He is assisted by Alix and Remi, his daughter and son, in all phases of winemaking.
  • After visiting Pourcieux, take a short 25-minute chauffeur-driven trip to the village of La Celle and Alain Ducasse’s Hostellerie de L’Abbaye de Celle hotel/restaurant for a comfortable stay overnight; dine in this Michelin 1-star establishment.

  • Breakfast at L’Abbaye de Celle.
  • Check out and take chauffeur-driven trip of 1 hour to meet Sacha Lichine, owner-winemaker of Château d’Esclans, near Fréjus on the Côte d’Azur, where you will enjoy a private, VIP tour and tasting with Sacha and his winemaker, Bertrand Léon.
  • Then, by special arrangement only, join Sacha Lichine and Bertrand Léon at a private luncheon at the Château.
  • After lunch, depart in chauffeur-driven sedan for Nice, Monaco or Marseille to continue your voyage.
