Ross Wine Tours, in partnership with some of the most respected château owners in the Bordeaux region, offers sur mesure tours, tastings, and informative voyages for one-day to seven-day tours and private Bordeaux wine tours, according to the detailed requests and needs of our clients. Past excursions with Ross Wine Tours experienced tour partners included visits to Grand, Premier, and Cru Bourgeois châteaux in Margaux, St. Julien, and Pauillac appellations, as well as in Saint-Émilion.

Join Bordeaux aficionado David Lincoln Ross on a journey through one of the most beautiful and historic corners of France: Bordeaux and the Médoc-Saint Émilion-Sauternes wine regions. Explore exclusive, private to this world-famous region and meet some of the most talented wine makers, taste their aged vintages, dine at Michelin-starred restaurants, and stay at luxury châteaux and hotels during your tour.

  • After arriving in Paris from USA in the early morning, you’ll take a comfortable 1st Class TGV train from Paris/CDG to Gare St. Jean Station, Bordeaux, about 2 ½ hours.
  • In Bordeaux you will be met by your Expert Guide and transfer to Luxury Hotel in the Médoc via private Chauffeured Sedan
  • Receive Early Check In at Luxury Hotel in Pauillac on the Left Bank of the Gironde Estuary
  • Light Lunch or Outdoor Picnic with matching wines at local bistro or nearby vineyard setting
  • Afternoon Tasting: Château Kirwan, Margaux
  • Return to Hotel
  • Dinner at Restaurant in Hotel or at nearby Michelin-rated restaurant, with Bordeaux classified growth wines, per your wishes

  • Breakfast at Hotel, and then you will check out
  • Short trip to a Private Tour & Tasting Chateau Lynch-Bages, Pauillac, a Grand Cru of Bordeaux.
  • After the tasting, a Chauffeur-driven return to Bordeaux with your Expert Guide, followed by a visit to the famous Wine Museum of Bordeaux – Cité Mondial du Vin – and/or the Bordeaux Art Museum, or a walking tour of the old city neighborhood of Bordeaux center
  • Reservation for a late lunch at a Michelin-reviewed restaurant in Bordeaux
  • Private Chauffer to SNCF Gare St. Jean, Bordeaux Airport, Merignac, or elsewhere per your wishes.

  • A visit to the seaside town of Arcachon, a short boat tour of its iconic bay, followed by a seafood lunch overlooking its harbor and the Atlantic Ocean, or a visit to a nearby oyster farm

Join Bordeaux aficionado David Lincoln Ross on a journey through one of the most beautiful and historic corners of France: Bordeaux and the Médoc-Saint Émilion-Sauternes wine regions. Explore exclusive, private access to this world-famous region and meet some of the most talented wine makers, taste their aged vintages, dine at Michelin-starred restaurants, and stay at luxury châteaux and hotels during your tour.

  • Following your flight’s arrival in France, you’ll transfer to 1st class on a fast TGV train from Paris to Gare St. Jean Bordeaux; about 2 ½ hours
  • Arrive Bordeaux, where you will meet your private guide, there you will be chauffeur-driven to a luxury hotel in the Médoc via the famous D2 route to the town/appellation of Pauillac
  • Early check in at your Hotel and soon proceed to lunch featuring local specialties at Bages Bistro, Pauillac
  • After lunch, you’ll be driven to a private tasting at a great classified growth Bordeaux estate such as Château Kirwan, Margaux, or Château Lynch-Bages, Pauillac
  • Return to Hotel, free time until dinner – time for a bicycle ride or spa visit – where you will enjoy a multi-course gourmet celebration of local ingredients at a nearby, Michelin-starred restaurant

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Check Out and then you will be chauffeur-driven from Pauillac area to Château Smith Haut Lafitte Hotel & Spa, at Les Sources de Caudalie, Martillac, located just south of Bordeaux in Pessac-Léognan/Graves appellations
  • On the way, you will stop and enjoy a private guided tour of the world-famous Château Mouton-Rothschild Wine Museum, from ancient relics to modern art covering the entire history of winemaking
  • At Château Smith Haut Lafitte, you will check in and proceed to a gourmet lunch at Hotel’s Restaurant, La Grande Vigne
  • After lunch, you will have free time to relax or book a Spa session at Les Sources de Caudalie
  • At dinnertime, you are booked for a special celebration at the Hotel’s La Grande Vigne

  • Breakfast at Hotel
